8. Budget is always going to be a problem! How can we gain access to online resources without it costing too much?

@Arlen Kimmelman Apologies for being AWOL.

So, the students need to go into the public library and have their parents sign off on membership. This enables them to use all the library resources, print and digital.

But if they want to use the public library online resources, such as Brittanica, then they can create an online account without the need of parental permission. The resources are vetted by the library staff so the children are fairly safe with their access, which is limited to the online resources.

I quite like this idea as it will empower the students with their research and give them broader horizons!!!!!!! .... or not, since we are talking about 11 and 12 yr olds who think Google is the be all and end all. ;)
